The New Hair Cuts
Katie and Nicholas got new hair cuts yesterday...I didn't realize that when a blonde gets a buzz cut he then looks bald!! opps!! We will be waiting for it to grow out a bit before he gets his 2 year old pictures done!! hehe! Katie's cut was long over due...we finally cut all the "baby" hair off...she looks so cut!!! :)

One of the Florida things I DID NOT miss while we lived in Maine!
Katie wanted to ride bikes...and this is what I found sitting under her bike. At first I thought it was a really big earthworm...it was about 6-7 inches long, but when I go closer I noticed that it was coiled up...worms do not do that!! SO, being a calm Mommy (as to not freak the kids out--believe me, I was freaking out inside!!) I calmly went over to the shovel and began hacking the little snake into pieces!! I think the way I was going at it may have raised a red flag in Katie's head!! She is now a bit scared of our garage!! Got to love Florida...snakes, bugs and gators...OH MY!!

My little bruiser!
Two days after moving into our new house in Florida Nicholas decided he wanted to check out our closest ER!! While playing outside he tripped and fell on his HEAD!! No stitches...but after getting his head glued back together he is good as new! OH, this little boy is going to keep my life full of surprises!!
Florida...Here we come!!
Well, here I go...I am finally posting again!! :) On March 28th we started our drive to Florida! Jason had 2 weeks to get us settled into our new house and have a little R and R before he headed back to work!! On our trip down we stopped in Richmond, VA to see our good friends the Corbett's. We stayed a nice hotel, had good food, the kids got to play and the adults got to catch up!! All in all, a great time!! Thanks Corbett Family...we love you!!
